Title:
FOCUS ADJUSTING MECHANISM AND CAMERA USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3830455
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof small-sized camera whose focus adjustment is easy and which have defects reduced as to an on-vehicle camera supposed to be used outdoors.
SOLUTION: A CCD substrate 48 provided with a CCD is fixed to a lens holder 46. The lens holder 46 has key engagement with a lens assy 20 and its position is adjusted with an adjusting ring 42, so positioning which is what is called "vertical indexing" becomes unnecessary. The CCD substrate 48 is fitted at right angles to the lens holder 46 and then an imaging plane becomes perpendicular to an optical axis. Therefore, the imaging plane is adjusted along only an X axis and a Y axis when the optical axis is set in a Z-axial direction.
