PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focus adjustment device that can appropriately adjust a focus state of an optical system.SOLUTION: A focus adjustment device comprises: a first light reception unit 137 that receives a light flux having a first spectroscopic characteristic and from an optical system to output a first output value; a second light reception unit 160d that receives a light flux having a second spectroscopic characteristic different from the first spectroscopic characteristic and from the optical system to output a second output value; a focus adjustment unit 170 that adjusts a focus state of the optical system; and a computation unit 170 that calculates an amount of correction according to an optical component not detected in the first light reception unit 137, but detected in the second light reception unit 160d on the first output value and the second output value. The focus adjustment unit 170 is configured to adjust the focus state of the optical system on the basis of the amount of correction.
