Abstract:

To provide focus changeable glasses capable of keeping a wide field of view and substantially increasing the number of changeable diopters.

Lower lenses 2, a lower pad between the lower lenses, and upper lenses 3 and an upper pad 5 which are as if they were turned upside down, are built in a rim 1 of the glasses, and temples 6 with tip cell reverse mechanism 12 are linked with both ends of the rim of the glasses to be freely opened/closed. Moreover, an auxiliary rim 24 building in right and left auxiliary lenses 25 are provided at the front side of the rim 1, so that a combined focus can also be selective by superposing the auxiliary lenses 25 on the lower lenses 2 or the upper lenses 3. The tip cell reverse mechanism 12 is provided with a connection mechanism in which a cylindrical column member 16 is inserted in a cylinder member 15 between the front axis and the rear axis 14 of the temple, and the tip cell 11 is arranged so as to be only turnable inside for being reversed and not to be reversed without its fore-and-aft movement by engaging a guide groove of the cylinder member 15 with a guide rod of the cylindrical column member 16.
