Title:
FOCUS DETECTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01155308
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a simple and small-sized focus detection optical system which guides the image of an object in a wide range to the surface of a photoelectric sensor in an excellent image-formation state by simultaneously providing plural units having the plural photoelectric sensor trains arranged in a direction perpendicular to a direction where a pupil is divided by a pupil division means. CONSTITUTION:The pupil division means 11 for dividing the exit pupil of an objective lens into plural different areas, an optical distribution forming means 12 for forming optical distribution in which a luminous flux which passes through the area is received and relative positions changes according to a state where the focus of the objective lens is adjusted and plural units having the plural photoelectric sensor trains 13a-13f arranged in the direction perpendicular to the direction where the pupil is divided by the pupil division means are simultaneously provided in the title device. The respective sensor trains respectively receive the optical distribution based on the image of the object and a photoelectric detector 13 outputs signals in accordance with the light. Thus, the detection of the focus can be respectively executed to the object which exists within the wide range of a field. Especially, excellent optical performance can be attained in the title device whose adjusted spots are few and whose assembly is simple and which is small-sized.
