Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focus detection optical system, a focus detection device and an optical instrument using the focus detection device that can detect a focal point at high accuracy in a plurality of directions by restraining crosstalk.SOLUTION: A focus detection optical system to be used in a focus detection device dividing a light flux passing through an imaging optical system and detecting an in-focus state of the imaging optical system in accordance with a relative position relationship between a plurality of images to be formed by the divided light flux has: deflection means that causes the plurality of images to be deflected so as to mutually separate in a direction crossing a division direction of the light flux passing through the imaging optical system; and correction means that gives an image a deflection in an opposite direction of the deflection by the deflection means to thereby correct distortion of the image by the deflection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
