PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focusing control device, a lens device, an imaging apparatus, a focusing control method, and a program, capable of enhancing the calculation accuracy of a phase difference.SOLUTION: A digital camera includes a phase difference calculation part 11a which calculates the phase difference between a signal group outputted from a plurality of phase difference detection pixels 52A and a signal group outputted from a plurality of phase difference detection pixels 52B, a lens drive control part 11c which drives a focus lens according to a drive amount corresponding to the phase difference, and a phase difference prediction part 11b which calculates the prediction value of the phase difference at a time t(n+1) on the basis of a coefficient a(n) for converting the phase difference calculated at a time t(n) into the drive amount and a difference Δm(n+1) between the movement amount from the time t(n) of the focus lens at the time t(n+1) after the focus lens starts its movement according to the drive amount and the drive amount. The phase difference calculation part 11a calculates the phase difference on the basis of a correlation operation result and the prediction value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
