Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focusing method adjusted not by the movement of a lens to the lens barrel but by the movement of a lens barrel in a projection type display.
SOLUTION: This focusing device includes an optical engine assembly containing the lens, the lens barrel and an optical engine; a lens barrel coupling part coupled with the lens barrel; a lens barrel adjusting bracket for guiding the movement of the lens barrel coupling part; and a focusing handle attached to one end of the lens barrel so as to adjust the position of the lens barrel. The structure of the device is simplified by utilizing the focusing method adjusted not by the movement of the lens but by the movement of the lens barrel, differently from the conventional technique.
