Abstract:
To make a foil blade for a papermaking apparatus scarcely abrasive and easy in its fixing work.
Individual or mixed particles of diamond, CBN or the like are electrodeposited on the sliding surface of a main foil blade 10 made of an ABS resin or the like to form an electrodeposited layer 11 having improved durability. The electrodeposited layer 11 is fixed to a papermaking apparatus by encasing a titanium-made sash 12 without using a liner to improve the workability of the fixing.
