Abstract:
To provide a foil transfer method which can provide the solidity to a portion to which foil is transferred, and provide foil, a foil transfer device and an image formation apparatus.SOLUTION: A foil transfer method transfers foil 21 to a sheet S having a first portion on which a toner image is formed, and a second portion which is surrounded by the first portion and on which the toner image is not formed. The foil 21 includes a transfer layer containing resin and thermally expandable particles. The foil transfer method heats the sheet S and the foil 21 in an overlapped manner such that the toner image and the transfer layer contact each other, and transfers the transfer layer to both the first portion and the second portion of the sheet S.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
