Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional foldable bicycle which is of higher-load than a conventional foldable bicycle and can be a waggon.SOLUTION: A foldable bicycle has a frame, a front wheel 8 and a rear wheel 9 freely rotatably fitted back and forth of the frame, a handle which is fitted to a front part of the frame and is for changing directions of the front wheel 8, and driving force transmission mechanisms 2, 4 whose front ends are supported by the frame and whose rear ends are engaged with the rear wheel 9 to transmit rotations of pedals to the rear wheel 9, and is foldable in the way that the front wheel 8 and the rear wheel 9 are parallel. The foldable bicycle has: first rotation means 3 and second rotation means 3 which freely rotatably support the front wheel 8 and the rear wheel 9 with respect to the frame respectively and position them at a position rotated at the right angle; and folding means 11, 12 which can bend rear ends of the driving force transmission mechanisms together with the rear wheel 9 at the right angle in the state that the rear wheel 9 and driving force transmission mechanisms 2, 4 are engaged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
