Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable bicycle in which the width and height are small in the folded state and which can be lightly carried.
SOLUTION: A frame 6 is connected to a central point position of a line tightening respective centers of a rotation shaft of a front wheel and a rotation shaft of a rear wheel by a connection shaft 7 arranged in perpendicular to the line such that it can be folded by approximately 180°. One side of the rotation shaft 7 of the front wheel 3 and the rear wheel 4 is supported at canti-lever by the frame or an extension member thereof. An inner diameter of a rim of a disc wheel of any one wheel of the front wheel 3 or the rear wheel 4 is formed to a larger size of an outer diameter of a tire of the other wheel and a recessed part having a depth capable of accommodating the other wheel is formed. In the folded state that the frame is folded at a position of the connection shaft, the wheel at a small diameter side is accommodated in the recessed part of the wheel at a large diameter side.
