The chair has: two beams (31) and (32) whose one ends are fitted respectively to two legs (11a) and (12a) with universal joints (21) and (22) and which are rotatable to each other in the vicinity of the center; a sheet-like footrest body (40) arranged across the vicinities of the other ends of the respective beams (31) and (32); two belts (51) and (52) whose respectively one ends are fitted to the respective beams (31) and (32) and the other ends of which are provided with engaging tools (51b) and (52b); first engaged tools (11b) and (12b) which can engage with the engaging tools (51b) and (52b) and provided at a chair main body (1) so as to support the sheet-like footrest body (40) at a first height; and second engaged tools (51c) and (52c) which can engage with the engaging tools (51b) and (52b) and provided at the chair main body (1) so as to support the sheet-like footrest body (40) at a second height.
