Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a seat from a rearward inclining and a rear leg from rearward tilting.
CONSTITUTION: Holding members 7 fitted on the upper end of a rear leg 5 abut against the rear face of a back support frame 8 at a predetermined position P, and is resiliently engaged with a front frame 4. Even though a chair is lifted up for movement, the upper end part 5a of the rear leg 5 is held in a condition in which it abuts against the front frame 4 at the predetermined position. Accordingly, the predetermined position P of the front frame 4 is not exposed, and accordingly, it is possible to prevent a hand or the like from unconsciously touching the predetermined position P where it possibly caught, that is, it is possible to prevent a finger, a garment of the like from being unexpectably caught in a gap. When the rear end 5 is tilted forward so that the lower ends of the front leg 3 and the rear leg 5 approach together, a seat 6 steeps rearward so that seating is impossible. Accordingly, the seating on the seat 9 is impossible in such a condition that a finger, a garment or the like is caught in the gap, thereby it is possible to prevent a finger, a garment or the like from being caught in the gap.
