The foldable container for distribution for use in transporting the perishables and the like comprises a container body having an almost square bottom plate on which the perishables and the like are placed, four sidewalls having hinges via which the side walls are coupled to the four sides of the bottom plate and can be folded onto the bottom plate, and reinforcing members for reinforcing the hinges to hold the sidewalls stand up; and a lid for covering the upper opening of the container body. Each bottom plate, four sidewalls, and lid, which constitutes the container body, is a multiple-wall heat insulating structure having a plurality of air layers inside, or a heat insulating structure having a vacuum heat insulating panel or a hard urethane form panel inside.
