CONSTITUTION: In this foldable handle of a reel for fishing, at least either one of one side 8a' of the top 8a of a sliding body 8 or one side 7' of a recessed engaging part 7 opposed when the one side 8a' of the top 8a of the sliding body 8 is engaged is formed as an inclined face and clearance (a) is provided between other side 8a" of the top of the sliding body 8 and other side 7" of the recessed engaged part 7 opposite to the other side 8a" and an engaging projection 10 engaging with the end face of the base end part 4a of a handle arm 4 is provided at the tip of other side 8a" of the top of the sliding body 8.
