To improve stability after folding by arranging both of the end of an intermediate supporting leg on a side inner than the front end and the rear end of a long chair with respect to the chair where a long chair left half body and a long chair right half body are freely foldable in the form of a reverse V by a front face view.
The left frame 5 of the long chair left half body 1 and the right frame 7 of the long chair right half body 2 are inserted from right and left to a pair of pivotally connecting members arranged back and forth and the upper sides, or the like of these pivotally connecting members are coated with a safety cover 10. The front and rear pivotally connecting members are connected with each other through a center shaft 12, and both ends of the intermediate supporting leg 13 are arranged on a side inner than the front end 21 and the rear end 22 of the left and right frames 5 and 7. Namely, in the case of setting a distance from a front tip 21 and a rear tip 22 to the respective front/rear ends of the leg 13 to be L, L is set to meet a condition of 30 mm≤L≤80 mm. Thus, at the time of folding the long chair, it is simply and speedily folded without inserting a finger, or the like, between the left/right frames 5 and 7 and the leg 13.
