To provide a foldable table which enables the retention of the top board securely and firmly along with a better appearance without chattering at its horizontal and erected positions without increasing the dimensions of component members.
The top board 4 is pivoted by the upper end part of a leg rod 3 with a horizontal pivot 5 and is made rotatable to its horizontal and erected positions with the pivot 5 as a fulcrum. Lock pins 28 and 30 are provided at two points, far from and near the pivot 5 in the leg rod 3. The top board 4 is provided with the first retaining lever 36 which is made attachable onto or detachable from the lock pin 28 far from the pivot 5 when the top board 4 is set at the horizontal position, the second retaining lever 38 which is attachable onto or detachable from the lock pin 30 near the pivot 5 when the top board 4 is set at the erected position and an operation means for operating both the retaining levers 36 and 38.
