By turning a top plate 1 to a horizontal state, opening opening/closing legs 4 and 5 at separated positions to fixed legs 2 and 3, and mounting the top plate 1 on the respective opening/closing legs 3 and 4, the table in an unfolded state is attained. By closing the opening/closing legs 4 and 5 to close positions to the fixed legs 2 and 3 and turning the top plate 1 by 90 degrees so as to be roughly vertical, the top plate is brought into a folded state. In the folded state, casters 7 attached to the overhang parts 4a and 5a of the respective opening/closing legs 4 and 5 respectively are positioned on the outer side of the top plate 1.
