PURPOSE: To automatically fold a temporary roof without disassembling the frame of the roof.

CONSTITUTION: The proximal end part of radially arranged ascending ridges 5 are pivotally attached to a ridge receiver 4 at the outer periphery of a ridge bundle 1 having a hydraulic cylinder structure, and support columns 6 are pivotally attached to the front end part of the ascending ridges 5, being laid in parallel with the latter. Further, the opposite ends of angle braces 10 are pivotally attached to movable pieces 9 threadedly engaged with rotary screw rods 7 each incorporating a drive motor 8 and the support columns 6, and wires 11, 12 are stretched between the top end bevel 2 of elevating rod 3 and the ascending ridges 5 and between the ridge bundle 1 and the support columns 6. Further, roof fabric pieces 13 are laid on the ascending ridges 5.
