To provide foldable type portable communication equipment with a first casing and a second casing connected to each other via a hinge part in an openable/closable manner, having less rattling even when whole assembled components constituting the hinge part are significantly different in dimensions.
The hinge part consists of a hinge shaft 40, a pair of first hinge shaft insertion portion 22 provided on the first casing 2 for the hinge shaft 40 to be inserted therein, and a pair of second hinge shaft insertion portion provided on the second casing 3 and arranged inside the first hinge shaft insertion portion. A protrusion 30 is provided on a first insertion portion side abutting face 22a between the hinge shaft 40 and the first hinge shaft insertion portion 22 for reducing a gap in the axial direction of the hinge shaft 40.
