A folding chair is equipped with a basic frame 1, which is installed on a wall W, a seat board 2, which holds a hips of a person who sits on it and is joined to the upper half of the basic frame 1 at a back end as the seat board 2 can slide, and a leg 3, which supports the seat board 2 at a certain height from a floor F and is joined to a front end of the seat board 2 as the leg 3 can rotate. The unfolded, seat board 2 and the unfolded leg 2 are stored in a storage space while an upper side of the seat board 2 and a front side of the leg 3 face to the front.
