Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding chair with a backrest that offers high characteristics of comfort in the condition of use, and that has a minimum volume in a storage position.SOLUTION: A folding chair comprises: a seat (12) including a seat panel (22); a backrest (14) including a flexible backrest panel (26) and two backrest supports (28), each having an upper portion (62) that engages a respective side edge (30) of the backrest panel; a folding frame (16) carrying the seat and the backrest and including a first structure (18) comprising a pair of rear legs (18') and a second structure (20) comprising a pair of front legs (20'), wherein the first structure and the second structure are articulated together about a first axis (A); and a pair of joints (32), each including a first half-coupling fixed to a respective rear leg and a second half-coupling fixed to a respective front leg.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
