Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely, securely, and beautifully cover a connection rod of a folding chair when it is exposed in accordance with closure of legs.
SOLUTION: Upper end parts of both back legs 2b, 2b of a roughly U-shaped back leg frame (2) are faced to a middle part of height of a front leg frame 1 (1b) provided with a seat back 4 at an upper end and formed in a vertically rectangular form, connection rods 9 of connection male members 8 to be pivotally installed in the middle of height of the front leg frame 1 to freely oscillate are freely slidably engaged with connection female members 10 engaged at the upper end parts for connecting both to each other. In the meanwhile, sheath- like covers 13 are installed on the connection female members 10 to cover the connection rods 9 together with the upper end parts of the back legs 2b, 2b, and as the connection rods 9 are extended in accordance with closure of the front and back leg frames 1, 2, they are covered to be prevented from being exposed in a length range of the covers 13.
