Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a folding device for a short side edge part of a exterior base plate for building panel which can correspond quickly and easily to a change of size of the building panel.
CONSTITUTION: A building panel A is sent by a panel receiving means 1 into a prescribed position of a folding area 5, both end parts only of short side edge parts D of the exterior base plate B is pushed up and folded by total four folded plates 23 of the short side edge part folding means 2, residual parts made at four corners of the exterior base plate B are folded in by a bending plate 23 and a folding jig 251, this folded piece is folded by the folding jig 251 to a short side M of the panel body F, an edge E of the exterior base plate B projecting from the upper edge on the short side of the panel body F is folded by a short side forming means 4 to the upper surface of the short side.
