Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piece of folding furniture having a stable leg part in use in spite of a simple structure.SOLUTION: A piece of folding furniture 10 includes: a pair of rod-like frame members 21 that are arranged in parallel with a space apart; a pair of shaft rods 51 that connects both ends of the rod-like frame members respectively; and a leg part comprising a pair of rod-like members 31 for legs that are rotatably attached to each of the shaft rods between the pair of rod-like frame members and that have a length less than a 1/2 of the length of the rod-like frame members, and comprising a connection member 32 that is stretched between the pair of rod-like members for legs. In addition, the piece of folding furniture has a leg support rod 41 which is rotatably attached to each of the shaft rods between the pair of rod-like members for legs, with the position in the axial direction of the shaft rods shifted from each other, which is brought into contact with the leg part, and which at the time of the contact has such a length that an angle formed by the rod-like members for legs of the leg part and by the rod-like frame members becomes smaller than 90°. In the piece of folding furniture, since the leg part is supported by the leg support rod of the other side, a load on the upper surface can be stably supported.
