Abstract:
To provide a folding knife having a blade body immovably fixed to a handle in a usable state and a stored state and capable of reducing the number of components to reduce manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: At the rear end of a blade body 1, a circular rotary hole 12 and a long-hole shaped fixed hole 13 shorter on the width which is a length in longitudinal and perpendicular directions than the diameter of the rotary hole 12 and extending toward the tip side or rear end side longitudinal direction of the blade body 1 are continuously formed-through. At the tip of a handle 3, a shaft 4 having a section circular-arc at both ends in the longitudinal direction of a rectangle and fitted in the rotary hole 12 or the fixed hole 13 by moving the blade body 1 in the longitudinal direction with respect to the handle 3 is fixed. The length of the shaft 4 in the section longitudinal direction is shorter than the diameter of the rotary hole 12, and the width of the shaft 4 which is a length in the section longitudinal and perpendicular directions is slightly shorter than the width of the fixed hole 13. The blade body 1 can be rotated with respect to the handle 3 by sliding and rotating the shaft 4 in the rotary hole 12. The shaft 1 is immovably fixed by fitting the shaft 4 in the fixed hole 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
