Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding-processing method and a folding-processed article capable of suppressing outer R of a folded part small when folding a square pipe according to a manual operation by forming a notch part of V-shape on the square pipe.SOLUTION: A folding-processing method of a long-size material provided with two surfaces orthogonally crossed to each other includes respective processes of: a process of setting one lateral surface 3A of the long-size material 3 as a surface to be bending-processed and forming a notch part 7 of V-shape having one lateral surface 3A as a bottom part on the other lateral surface 3B orthogonally crossed; a process of performing the folding processing of a part 5 to be folded by means of molds of a male form and a female form in order to make an outside diameter of the part 5 to be folded almost constant over the whole length of a fold line when setting the bottom part of the notch part 7 as the part 5 to be folded and folding one lateral surface 3A of the long-size material 3 into the V-shape; and a process of again performing folding-operation of the long-size material 3 according to a manual operation so as to join surfaces to be joined 9A, 9B on the notch part 7 of the V-shape of the other side surface 3B after folding-processing by means of the molds.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
