Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure loading stability by overlapping a seat back 101 on a seat cushion 102 to make a rear surface 103 of the seat back 101 higher than a load floor 104.
SOLUTION: A seat 7 has a seat back 8 with a rear leg 38 integrally installed extending from the seat back 8 and the lower end of the rear leg 38 is installed pivotably on the side of a vehicle. Further, in the front of a seat cushion 9 the upper end of a front leg 22 is pivotably installed. The seat 7 is provided with a stay 11 which connects frames 14 and 12 of the seat back 8. At the rear of the frame 12 one end of the stay 11 is fixed by bolts 13, 13 and the other end is pivotably installed onto the frame 14 of the seat back 8. When the seat back 8 is brought down frontward, the seat cushion 9 moves front side and downward sinkingly. Thus, the seat back 8 is folded over the seat cushion 9.
