Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type automobile that can be folded at an arbitrary place and is excellent in safety during travel.SOLUTION: A folding type automobile comprises: a frame connection member 103 for connecting front and rear frames 101 and 102 so as to be rotatable with a rotary shaft as a fulcrum; a front actuator 104 in which a housing is fixed to the front frame 101 and one end of a screw shaft is fixed to the frame connection member 103; and a rear actuator 105 in which a housing is fixed to the rear frame 102 and one end of a screw shaft is fixed to the frame connection member 103. By reciprocation drive of the screw shaft, its driving force is transmitted to the frame connection member 103. The front and rear frames 101 and 102 are rotated by the driving force received by the frame connection member 103 to realize folding of a chassis 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
