Abstract:
PURPOSE: To house and cover a wire from an electricity disposed on a top plate by forming a hollowed housing section comprising a flexible mesh whose lower part is fitted on the back of a decorative laminated panel and a hinged cover disposed on the front of the decorative laminated panel. CONSTITUTION: A wire W for connecting a table and an equipment such as a computer C is housed in a hollow formed by a flexible mesh 48 and a hard plate material through a hole formed on a top plate 10. Not only the wire but also a strip for a plug and the other small equipment may be housed in the hollow. In this way, the appearance will be improved and a possible tangle of wires on the floor is prevented, thus, a safety will be improved. To take the contents of the hollow out, it is only required to unlock a latch 70 and open a cover 60. In the case the wire is not housed a decorative laminated panel 16 may be folded. The flexibility of the mesh 48 makes such a folding work easy. The mesh can easily be flexed and folded and housed in the upper part of the folded decorative laminated panel 16.
