A folding type tent including: a pair of frames 10 each having a front leg part 10A and a rear leg part 10B which are laterally apart from each other and connected rotatably on a shaft O1; frames 11, 12, and 13 which are made arcuate each having both ends laterally apart from each other and supported by the pair of frames 10, and have both end parts connected rotatably on a shaft O1 below a shaft O2 to enter an expansion state in which the frames are apart from one another in a front-rear direction and a folding state in which the frames are close to one another in the front-rear direction; and a sheet material which covers a region defined by the frames 11-13 in the expansion state. The frame 11 is connected to the front leg part 10A of each frame 10 rotatably on the shaft O3 below the shaft O1 and above a shaft O3 the frame 12 is connected to a rear leg part 10B of each frame 10 rotatably on a shaft O4 below the shaft O1 and above the shaft O2, and the frame 13 supports a region of the rear leg part 10B of each frame 10 below the shaft O4 slidably.
