Abstract:
To provide a folding type wake-up/stand-up auxiliary chair which can be carried, with no place chosen for installation and storage, by simple mechanism using a manual power source and which uses self-help of or assistance for a care-needed person for example who is impaired in hands and legs.SOLUTION: The chair is folded by rotation of the same phase on hinges 41, 51 and connection shafts 42, 52. A seating face 1 is slid in a supine position facing the floor, with a handle 61 raised in a seated posture with stretched legs. The seating face 1 is elevated by a resultant force of a torque amplified on a leverage principle or of a stepping-on-the floor force by a standing knee. Standing-up is assisted with a support of a handle (as a cane) 6 erected from an upright sitting posture. Walking is promoted with a detached handle (as a cane) 6. Self-supporting of a care-need person is thereby supported, with a burden of a helped person and a helper reduced, so that expansion of action range and effect of improved motivation can be expected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
