To provide a folding umbrella stand having umbrella stand parts on the same surface in the longitudinal direction, capable of being easily folded, and capable of being compactly stored with each member taking a vertical attitude when the stand is folded.
A folding umbrella stand includes: seven plates in total including two top plates, two bottom plates and three side plates; and a handle 4. The seven plates constitute a pair of right and left parallel links with an intermediate side plate 3b as a fixing link, and an inner angle between adjacent plates is 90 degrees. The folding umbrella stand takes a use state with projections 13 accommodated in a projection accommodating part 43 by locating the handle 4 at a lower position, or takes a folded state with the projections 13 removed from the projection accommodating part 43 and the seven plates being substantially parallel by locating the handle 4 at an upper position.
