PURPOSE: To increase the distance over which a club cart can be followed and to eliminate any dead zone by providing the cart with a vehicle velocity controller which is controlled by a commander to be attached to a player, and by an omnidirectional detector and a distance measuring instrument.
CONSTITUTION: An unmanned club cart is provided with a vehicle velocity controller, the vehicle velocity controller being controlled by a commander 1 attached to player 0, an omnidirectional measuring instrument, and distance measuring window values 5A, 5B. The commander 1 simultaneously sends a signal to start or stop the club cart and a signal to advance the club cart toward the player 0 having the commander 1. A follow-up control unit 3 comprises the omnidirectional measuring instrument having the function of determining the directivity of the club cart to the player 0 having the commander 1, and a distance measuring instrument, and can safely and smoothly perform follow-up control even if the vehicle is distant from the human. The omnidirectional detector is e.g. of RDF antenna type or separate plate type.
