Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily control and switch font data by using a font data group selection two-dimensional table consisting of font choices arrayed in a row direction and font data group choices arrayed in a column direction.
CONSTITUTION: Plural font data groups are loaded in a memory 3 for conversion so as to convert character codes into font data. The control is performed by the two-dimensional table 6. The font choices A, B, C, D, and E are arrayed in two-dimensional data in the row direction, font data group choices α, β, γ, and δ are arrayed in the column direction, and whether or not the font data groups are loaded or switching numbers for reading front names and font data are held corresponding to lattice point. Consequently, unnecessary loading operation is prevented from being repeated and the loading and reading are performed by simple procedures.
