Abstract:

To obtain a new food composition with an easy process, having special appearance such as a three-layer structure and new delicate and strong palate feeling, and to provide snack food and dainties each using the composition.

The food composition is obtained by formulating 100 pts.wt. of non-pregelatinized starch with 1-60 pt(s).wt. of pregelatinized starch and 1-30 pt(s).wt. of paste of arum root followed by including in a food ≥50 wt.%, converted into solid content, of the resultant formulated product.
