Abstract:
To provide a food container that can easily release a reduced pressure state without using a valve structure, and has as few uneven part as possible on a lid body, making cleaning and other maintenance easier, even with a configuration allowing food to be stored well.SOLUTION: A food container includes: a container body 2 having an opening 1; a lid body 3 that closes the opening 1 of the container body 2; and an annular sealing member 5 that closes a gap between a peripheral edge part 4 of the opening 1 and the lid body 3 in a state the opening 1 is closed by the lid body 3. The sealing member 5 is provided with an exposed part that is exposed to an outside in the state the opening 1 is closed by the lid body 3. In the exposed part, a deformation operation part 7 is provided to deform the sealing member 5 so that a contact surface 6 of the sealing member 5 with the container body 2 or the lid body 3 is separated from the container body 2 or the lid body 3, to form the gap between the sealing member 5 and the container body 2 or the lid body 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
