Abstract:
To provide food desiccant effectively functioning without spoiling food taste and/or palate feeling even when added after the food is dried or when the food is not under a special condition: and to provide dry food containing the food desiccant.
The food desiccant contains a polysaccharide composition having 0.01-15 wt.% of water content as a main material, and is formed into a solid state.
