Abstract:

To provide food and drink including powdery vinegar and improved in flavor, in view of the fact that vinegar is known to demonstrate a physical condition adjusting effect such as a blood pressure elevation preventing effect, but because of having peculiar irritating smell, it is difficult to continuously ingest an effective dose of vinegar.

Food and drink include an ingredient (A) of powdery vinegar, and an ingredient (B) of protein or its decomposition product. The ingredient (A) is preferably powdery tomato vinegar. The ingredient (B) is preferably at least one kind selected from milk peptide, sesame peptide, pork peptide, fish peptide, soybean peptide, milk serum protein, whey powder, powdered skim milk, and whole milk powder.
