To provide a food feeding device capable of correctly feeding food such as fried chicken pieces, frozen corns, and cubes of carrot, of a relatively large size compared to grains, and with large and/or uneven friction due to situations of their surface form, water content, etc., to a processing device positioned on the downstream side without generating irregularity in dropping tracks, and keeping a prescribed attitude even for food of flat form.
This food feeding device 50 is provided with a feed conveyor 51, and a guide plate 52 having a guide surface 53 with curvature in a lower surface disposed to be separated from the feed conveyor on the discharge end side of the feed conveyor. The food F discharged from the feed conveyor 51 flies in a free space to get in contact with the guide surface 53 with curvature on the lower side of the guide plate, and moves along the guide surface downward, keeping its attitude when it gets in contact with the guide surface 53, so that it freely drops from a lower end part of the guide plate 52.
