CONSTITUTION: In this food heat insulating body 1 for heat insulating the warm food to be heat insulated immediately after being cooked such as pizza, doria, gratin or lasagna, etc., and deliverying it to the destination, the food heat insulating body 1 is provided with a surrounding part 2 for surrounding the food to be heat insulated and the surrounding part 2 is formed by ceramics which is the material of a large heat capacity. Also, in this food heat insulating delivery method for using the food heat insulating body and deliverying the food to be heat insulated to the destination, the food to be heat insulated is heat insulated by the food heat insulating body 1 heated so as to heat insulate and deliver the food to be heat insulated and is delivered to the destination.
