This food-heating and warming container is equipped with a vaporizing container 57 which generates steam, and an induction heating device 46 which electromagnetically induction-heats the vaporizing container 57 at the lower part of an enclosure 1. In this case, a water tank 43 which feeds water to the vaporizing container 57 is freely detachably provided. Thus, the water feeding to the water tank 43 is facilitated, and the cleaning of the water tank 43 itself can be easily performed. Also, compared with a conventional type heating and warming container with a fixed tank, the water amount in the vaporizing container 57 can be easily controlled, and a period of time from the start of the operation until the generation of steam can be shortened.
