PURPOSE: A food of Kamaboko(boiled fish paste) having a taste like sausage of animal meat, especially like salami, obtained by blending a Kamaboko which is essentially homogeneous and a gelatinous food with a protein ingredient hard to masticate and a solid fat or fat meat so that it is made heterogeneous.
CONSTITUTION: The titled food comprising a gelatinous protein ingredient, solid fat and/or fat meat of small pieces, and a masticatory protein ingredient such as gelatinized protein, structural soybean protein, etc. in a weight ratio of (10W80): (30W10):(60W10), wherein the solid fat and/or fat meat of small piece having diameters of 2W7mm, preferably 3W6mm and the masticate protein ingredient are dispersed into the gelatinous protein ingredient, and, if necessary, it is smoked.
