To provide a food packaging container capable of suppressing the increase in the inner pressure while improving sealing properties better than a half-sealed food packaging container.
This food packaging container is a sealable food packaging container (1). The container (1) has a container body (2) with an inner face (16) and a lid (4). The lid (4) includes a top plate (26) and an inner wall (30) extending upward from the periphery and capable of being sealingly pressed against the inner face (16) of the container body (2). The container body (2) has a groove (50) communicating with the outer part of the the container (1), when the container (1) is sealed, and isolated from the inner part of the container. The top plate (26) and the inner wall (30) can be deformed or moved by the increase in the inner pressure of the container (1) so as to communicate the inner part of the container (1) with the groove (50).
