PURPOSE: To provide the subject apparatus containing a specific treating tank, a rotating vessel, a supplying apparatus and a discharging apparatus and capable of continuously and uniformly performing the processing of various kinds of foods in general, such as forming, heating, boiling, solidifying and cooling treatments.

CONSTITUTION: The objective apparatus is composed of a treating tank 1 containing single or multi-stage slopes 2, a number of perforated cylindrical or spherical rotating vessels 4 (to be inserted with a food container having a prescribed shape) moving along the slope 2, a feeding apparatus 3 (an apparatus to supply the vessels to the top of the slope) and a discharging apparatus 6 (an apparatus to transfer the vessel from the lower discharging part of the slope 2 to an upper position) to continuously feed and discharge the rotating vessels 4 into or out of the treating tank 1. The rotating vessel 4 containing a food is supplied by the feeding apparatus 3, passed through e.g. a heating medium under rotation to the end of the slope, transferred upward with the transfer apparatus 6 and subjected to heating, etc.
