Abstract:
T obtain the seed and sprout of a cruciferous plant having chemoprotective property against cancer.
Vegetable sources of chemoprotective agents against cancer have been identified which are extraordinarily rich in glucosinolate, a metabolic precursor of isothiocyanate. The vegetable sources are used to provide a dietary means for reducing the level of carcinogens in mammals.
