To provide a food service cart for which the maintenance work can be easily carried out.
A tray storage compartment 5 of the food service cart 1 is divided into left and right sections with a partition board 17, and eight shelves 11 are mounted on either side of the partition board 17. Two heating coils are stored in each shelf 11, and light emitting diodes 62A and 62B are attached to the front surface of the shelf 11 corresponding to the heating coils, respectively. A detection coil is mounted in the outer periphery of each heating coil. When the electric current runs in one heating coil, the eddy current runs in the corresponding detection coil, and as a result, the corresponding light emitting diodes among the light emitting diodes 62A and 62B is lighted. Accordingly, whether the heating coils in the shelf 11 are electrified or not can be determined by viewing whether the light emitting diodes 62A and 62B are lighted or not.
