Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prepare a food vinegar useful as a health food by immersing dried galenica plant in brewed vinegar.

CONSTITUTION: The objective food vinegar can be prepared by immersing dried galenica plant {9146/28}e.g. OUSEI (rhizome of Polygonatum sibiricum), UIKYOU (fruit of Foeniculum vulgare), KASHOU (peel of Zanthoxylum bungeanum), KANZOU (root of Glycyrrhiza glabra), KIKKA (dried chrysanthemum flower), KUKOSHI (fruit of Lycium chinense), KEIHI (bark of Cinnamomum cassia), KOUJIN (rhizome of Panax ginseng), SANSHISHI (fruit of Gardenia jasminoides) and TAISOU (fruit of Zizyphus vulgaris){9147/28} in brewed vinegar, taking the galenica plant out of the vinegar and adding honey, sugar and other seasoning components to the vinegar.
