Abstract:
To provide a foodstuff management system for managing a foodstuff and recommending purchase of a foodstuff if needed such that purchase of the foodstuff is recommended in a way that is more advantageous to a user.SOLUTION: A foodstuff management system includes: stock information acquiring means for acquiring stock information about foodstuffs stored in a foodstuff storage; sales information acquiring means for acquiring sales information from a shop that sells foodstuffs; recommended food determining means for determining a recommended foodstuff whose purchase is recommended to a user on the basis of the stock information and the sales information; and transmission means for transmitting a notification for recommending purchase of the recommended food to a terminal that is associated with the foodstuff storage. For example, when a recipe is presented, a recipe for using foodstuffs that are sold at a bargain price may be preferentially presented and purchase of the foodstuff which is lacked may be recommended. Also, when purchase of regular stock items is recommended because the stock of the items becomes low, a stock determination threshold for issuing a recommendation notification may be changed according to whether or not the items are sold at a bargain price.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
