Abstract:
The present invention relates to an automatic steam and drying system for food and medical herbs, which is adapted to steam and dry food such as fish or beef, to steam and dry medical herbs and obtain a liquid extract of the medical herbs, and to perform 9 cycles of steaming and drying of green ginseng in particular so as to produce black ginseng as well as to obtain a liquid extract of the black ginseng as a steam-dried decoction. To this end, the present invention comprises: a container body that consists of a hermetic container, a reflective mirror encompassing the hermetic container and a heat-drying lamp housed within the reflective mirror; a 1st water tank having a heater disposed underneath thereof; a 2nd water tank; a 1st pipe line having one end connected to the bottom of the hermetic container and the other end connected to the top of the 1st water tank; a 2nd pipe line having one end connected to the top of the 1st water tank and the other end connected to the top of the 2nd water tank; a 3rd pipe line having one end connected to the top of the hermetic container and the other end connected to the bottom of the 2nd water tank; a 4th pipe line having one end connected to an upper end region of the 1st pipe line and the other end connected to a rear end portion of the 2nd pipe line; and a 5th pipe line having one end connected to an upper end region of the 1st pipe line and the other end connected to the bottom of the 2nd water tank.
